1. What is Hopr and why should I use it?
Hopr is a community pooling app that connects ride givers (Hosts) with ride takers (Guests) traveling along the same route. It helps reduce congestion by up to 40% and enables efficient commuting.
2. How are fares calculated?
Car Pool: 7 points/km
Bike Pool: 5 points/km
Points are calculated automatically based on your route.
3. What is the value of one point?
One point = 1 Rupee. Hosts earn rupees credited directly to their UPI ID.
4. How do I receive payment as a Host?
Payments are credited within 24 hours of trip completion to your UPI ID. For delays, contact support@hopr.mobi.
5. How do I pay as a Guest?
Pay in advance via UPI after your ride is confirmed.
6. What if someone cancels last minute?
If a host cancels, your payment is refunded. Refunds may take up to 24 hours.
7. Can I get picked up from my doorstep?
Currently, Hopr follows fixed routes and does not support doorstep pickups.
8. Can I change pickup/drop timings?
Not yet — this feature is coming soon.
9. How does Hopr ensure safety?
Manual verification is done during beta. Email-based verification will follow post-launch.
10. What if someone behaves inappropriately?
Use the app’s Contact Us > Call Us feature or dial 1171768104. End the ride if needed and report the issue.
11. Do Hosts have to take detours?
No detours are needed — pickups and drop-offs are along the route.
12. Do Hosts have to wait for Guests?
Allow some time and coordinate via call for smooth pickups.
13. What if there's a breakdown or emergency?
Use the "Emergency Call" option in the app or dial 1171768104 for immediate help. End the ride and report the incident.
