We’re currently seeing higher-than-usual demand on Hopr. Because of this, finding the right matches for your ride may take longer than usual.

We’re actively working to restore faster, instant match creation. In the meantime, here are a few things you can do to improve your chances of finding a match.

Finding matches will take longer than usual

Once you search for a ride, please give us some time to find suitable matches along your route. You can check back again after some time if matches aren't available immediately

Avoid changing your time or locations frequently

Every time you change your ride time, pick-up, or drop-off location, we need to search for suitable matches again. Frequent changes may increase the time it takes to find a match

For better results, keep your original time and locations whenever possible

Plan your rides 3-4 hours in advance

We recommend planning and searching for your ride at least 3-4 hours before you need to travel. This gives us more time to find people travelling along a similar route.

Try to avoid changing your ride time at the last moment, as this may reduce the available matches and increase your wait time

Why is this happening?

As more people use Hopr to find rides, we’re currently experiencing an increase in ride requests. This may temporarily affect how quickly we can create matches.

Our team is working to resolve this at the earliest and bring back the fast, instant matching experience you’re used to.

You don’t need to keep changing your ride details. Keep your time and locations unchanged and retry your search after some time.
